Without having any intention to start my own website, I stumbled upon a product called Site Build It!, which helps you brainstorm different website ideas, choose the one with the greatest profit potential, put up great content on your site even if you don't know a thing about writing or about HTML, and drive easy traffic to your site. Within four weeks I had my first pages up; within four months I was earning my first online income!

Now, nine months into this venture (June 2009), I'm having a blast, helping 25,000 or more visitors a month save energy in their own homes, and I'm earning over $250 a week. Not enough to live by yet, but my income is growing at over 20% a month, which could put me around $2,200 a week by next June.

And I've done all of this while working from home. I set my hours; I call the shots. I choose what to write about, and when to stop writing and go for a hike in the mountains or go surfing in the Pacific!

I know plenty of people who have built their own websites or blogs. There are lots of cheap or even free hosting services, and getting pages up is as easy as pie.

But most of those people are struggling to get 20 or 50 visitors a day. I get over 1,000 a day just nine months into my website, because the SBI! process I used - writing high-quality content for topics people are searching on and not finding elsewhere - brings instant and ever growing traffic. And unlike many, who give up because they can't cover their costs, or don't earn enough money to make the effort worthwhile, my website is making me more and more money each month. Give up? No way!
