Energy costs eating up your pension?
Pay your bills with your passion
If you're visiting Green-Energy-Efficient-Homes.com, you probably would like to cut your home energy use. I've tried to provide plenty of tips on my site - tips such as those I used myself to cut my electricity consumption in half in just months.
If you're on a pension, utility bills can eat up a big chunk of your income. So here's another tip I can offer:
Why not pay your utility bills with income from your own website?
Maybe this sounds like a long-shot for you. It was certainly a long shot for me. Just eight months ago, if someone had asked me if could earn money from my own website, I would have said 'No way!'
But here I am building my own site on a topic I care passionately about - with over 200 pages of content in just ten months, and over 80,000 visitors to my site already. Traffic has grown by 20-50% per month, and since I started turning the site into a money-making website, income has been growing by 20 to 30% a month. Here it is June 2009 and I'm already making $1,100 a month!
You could be doing this too - earning enough cash, within months of starting your own website, to pay your utility bills. Enough to stretch your pension dollars so that you can enjoy a few luxuries. All it takes is a topic you care about - a hobby, an area of expertise, a favorite vacation spot - and the right tools.
The right tools, I discovered, are a suite of products collectively called Site Build It! or SBI!. I stumbled upon Site Build It! last July. I read their 10-day Action Guide cover to cover, and before I was halfway through I knew this product was what I needed to turn my passion for energy efficiency into a money-making venture.
My website is just one among tens of thousands of successful SBI! websites. Many SBI! sites are owned by retirees who went looking for a way to keep busy and earn some extra cash, and discovered SBI! is the best way to do it.
Find out how I built this site in my spare time, or see my Site Build It! review.
